Account Executive

Job Description:

The primary responsibility is to promote and increase top line sales with existing and new clients. The individual will be responsible for electronic security system and I.T. Services consultation, presentations, and proposals to clients and prospects. Candidate will develop and maintain good working relationships with existing accounts while seeking to increase both sales volume and account penetration.

Requirements

We are looking for account executives with experience selling Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems and Fire alarms, as well as I.T. services and network infrastructure to Commercial, Institutional, Educational, Healthcare and Government Accounts. This position requires the following skills:

  • Security System Design and Integration experience preferred but not required.
  • Identifies client needs and assists in resolving issues quickly. Prioritize client sales environment and allocates necessary resources to be successful.
  • Requires the ability to learn our products and be able to present them to end users, contractors and consultants, as well being effective in channel sales.
  • Candidate preferred but not required to have knowledge of the IP Security Industry.
  • Ability to plan and manage daily activities within the assigned geographic area and market verticals.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets and sales productivity targets system installation sales, box sales, preventive maintenance contracts and customer renewals.
  • New Clients – Market ClearCom to new clients from internal leads, cold calls, and networking events.
  • Client Retention – Maintain and grow existing client base. Contact existing clients for contract renewals and up sell opportunities.
  • Act as first level of contact for client issues. Ensure client satisfaction and resolve all client issues and concerns.
  • Client must be computer competent with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), and other associated business software packages.
  • As part of our team, it is important to understand our success is based on exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Accurately prepare detailed sales proposals.
  • Accurately process client transactions for project completion.
  • Work with operations for successful project kickoff.
  • Follow the project from order entry to project close out to maintain client satisfaction and relationship.
  • Responsible for thorough knowledge of all company functions and policies.
  • Remain current on all products, services, industry and competitive trends. Attend all applicable training/meetings.
  • Salary plus commission based on experience.

Qualified candidates must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A sales background in the Electronic Security Industry and/or I.T. services and voice and data cabling knowledge. Strong working knowledge of solutions sales methodology, computers, and networking are a major plus. This individual must also be able to work independently, accomplish goals, and develop and present security solutions in accordance with client objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
